About RHPA.

The RHPA is a national association formed in 1983. The purpose of forming such an association was to provide representation for those health professionals, Australia wide, who shared an interest in or were involved in the area of rheumatic disease.

Full membership of the RHPA is open to all health professionals including;

Associate membership is open to those who are employed in the field of rheumatology without formal qualifications.

Student membership is open to students from the above disciplines.

Joining the RHPA

Membership

Health care professionals working in the area of rheumatic diseases can join the RHPA in one of three categories.

Full Membership

Full membership is open to health professionals and non-health professionals who hold a degree, are eligible for membership within their own professional discipline and who have an interest in rheumatology practice, education and research.

Benefits Of RHPA Membership

THe Australian Rheumatology Health Professionals Association (RHPA) was formed in 1983 to provide a representative body for health professionals interested in working with people with rheumatic diseases.

A three member executive committee is voted into office bi-annually and is supported by state and territory representatives. These representatives are responsible for :

Affiliation With The ARA

The RHPA is affiliated with The Australian Rheumatology Association (ARA). The ARA at www.rheumatology.org.au are linked to the RHPA website and distribute an ARA newsletter to our financial members four times a year that includes RHPA news from state/territory representatives. Finally they provide support through the ARA/RHPA Annual Scientific Meeting.
