ASSIG - ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP
The Ankylosing Spondylitis Special  Interest  Group (ASSIG) was formally accepted as a subgroup of the RHPA at the May General Meeting.

ASSIG aims to promote and support the optimal management of individuals with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) and related conditions.

Although started by physiotherapists, membership by other health professionals is encouraged. ASSIG would like to invite any members of RHPA with an interest in the management of people with AS to join ASSIG.    (see NEWS page for further info)

ARTHRITIS AUSTRALIA - INFORMATION ABOUT ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS
The AA website has  expanded its information about AS. It also has an exercise video that can be viewed, with physiotherapist Tony Morley instructing Cricketer, Michael Slater to do some basic stretches and exercises.
